Year 2 have moved on to their Athletics Unit in PE this term. They have been thoroughly enjoying themselves. This week, the Year 2's have been working on their Jumping skills and focusing specifically on: -Developing awareness of distance and height - learning to jump and take off and land in a number of ways, of which are controlled In the lesson they performed a number of activities where they were trying to beat their jumping distance and also performed different movement patterns with their feet; 1-2 feet, 2-1 foot, 2-1 foot with a double hop each time and changing the hopping foot as an extra challenge!
